Graydon Gordian | about

Graydon Gordian graduated from Vassar College in 2007. He majored in political science, with a dual focus in political theory and international relations.

After graduating from Vassar, Gordian worked briefly as a boxing trainer in New York City before moving to Chicago, Illinois. In Chicago, he worked in politics: First at a political research firm, and then as a field organizer for Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

While in Chicago, Gordian founded 48 Minutes of Hell, a blog that covers the San Antonio Spurs and their NBA Development League affiliate, the Austin Toros. Now a credentialed media outlet and an affiliate of ESPN, 48 Minutes of Hell has expanded to a staff of four and begun producing not only original reporting but audio and video content as well. Gordian currently serves as the site's managing editor.

After the Obama campaign ended, Gordian began pursuing his Masters in Journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School. While at Medill, he has covered a variety of topics, including crime, finance and the business of sports. Gordian is completing his graduate degree in Washington, DC, where he reports on issues of national security and the law.
